How does Destined2Meet work?
Destined2Meet provides a safe and secure way to communicate through visual dating, ensuring authenticity by eliminating catfish profiles "what you see is what you get". Destined2Meet stands apart from other dating sites, providing users with a unique experience. By selecting your desired countries (ensuring the time zone is realistic to when members are online), you can begin visual speed dating. Choose your chosen country or multiple countries and the age of the person(s) you wish to speed date with. Each person has 30 seconds to decide whether they would like to continue the conversation for a further 2 minutes. If both users click yes, it’s a match. Once you are matched, you can view each other’s profiles, send messages, video call, audio call, as well as leave video and audio messages based on selected packages.

What is the difference between a member and a subscriber?
Everyone who sets up a profile is a member. To interact with someone for the first time, you need to be a paying subscriber.

How much does it cost to join?
Membership is free. Paying subscribers can speed date and initiate a conversation. Our subscription rates are very reasonable, please visit our subscription page to view our rates. During promotional periods Destined2Meet will offer discounted and/or offers including introducing friends who subscribe to packages excluding the PAYG.

How old do you have to be to join?
Over 18 years of age. We do not permit individuals under the age of 18 on any of our platforms. If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please use the reporting service.

Why can't I send messages?
To send interact/message someone, you must be a subscriber. N.B. Messages can only be sent to your matches. Please visit our subscription page to view our rates or to sign up.

Is my privacy respected?
Yes. We will never give your details for any purpose without your permission. For full details please review our privacy policy.

Is my profile/content monitored?
At Destined2Meet we have zero tolerance. We reserve the right to delete profiles, through data protection that do not adhere with our policy which include but not limited by:
• Nudity
• Racism and/or attack other sexual groups or religion.
• Abusive words, bullying or acts of violence and terrorism.
• Under the illegal age to join

I've forgotten my login details. How do I find them?
Just click on the forgotten password link, complete the simple form and we'll email you a reminder of your username and a link that allows you to reset your password.

Can I change my password?
Yes. Click on the 3 bars at top left side, head to ‘Settings’ and follow the instructions.

How do I log out?
You can log out from clicking on the 3 bars at the top left-hand side.

Why must I set up a profile to use the site?
To use Destined2Meet you must set up a profile to interact with other subscribers. Destined2Meet is for people looking are seriously looking to find love. Membership is FREE.

Can I change my Username?
Yes. Click on ‘Settings’ and follow the edit instructions.

Can the public view my profile?
Your profile is only viewable by your matches; however, you are able to hide details such as date of birth.

How do I delete my profile?
Go to ‘Settings’ click the 'Delete My Profile'. Please note: This process will completely delete all your details on the site. If you are a subscriber and have time left on your subscription, it will be deleted with your records and cannot be refunded or applied to other (future) profiles. We recommend that you simply hide your profile if you are unsure.

How do I add a photo to my profile?
Click on 'My Profile – My Gallery and follow the guidelines for uploading photos.

Why did my photo disappear from my profile?
Your photo will be deleted if it does not comply with our requirements and guidelines, is obscene or picture of a celebrity or other copyrighted material such as cartoon pictures.

How do I search for people in other countries?
Simply click on the drop arrow under the section search and select country and/or countries of your choice.

Why do I not get any results when I search?
If the time zone is unrealistic i.e. UK GMT 18:00 vs Shanghai CST 1:00 then you are less likely to find many people online. Time zones will be shown when selecting your desired countries. We advise to choose multiple countries or at a time when users will realistically be online.

What is a match?
Matches are other subscribers whom you have interacted through speed dating when both parties have accepted a continuation to speak. Members will only appear in your match list when you both meet each other’s criteria.

Where do I find my matches?
Your matches are displayed on your profile page and where you see the double heart icon.

How do I cancel my contract/subscription?
You can cancel at any time; please refer to our terms and conditions. Your subscription is automatically renewed at the end of your contract term. If you wish to cancel this, you must uncheck the box in the payment section. Please note we cannot offer a refund once the renewal process has taken place.

How do I get a refund?
Refunds in accordance with section 11.2 and 11.3 in our terms and conditions are as follows:
• There are no refunds for the PAYG.
• There are no refunds for 1 month and 3-month contracts; if you do not wish to renew your contract, please uncheck the box in the payment section.
• Refunds are applicable for 6-month and 12-month contracts providing our services have not been used and a written notice is given within 3 days of entering the contract, however in such case we recommend in the event of finding your ‘match’ you are able to put the account on hold and resume as and when within 1 year. If a refund is still required, we will deduct usage, for example, if 1 month is used, we will deduct the 1-month fee from your contract and so forth. Again, please uncheck the box in the payment section if you do not want your contract renewed. After such renewal no refunds are given.
